Sidgwick Avenue Pre ETRO survey

The following survey is part of Greater Cambridge Partnership’s proposals to implement an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO) along Sidgwick Avenue. The ETRO will introduce temporary measures to improve safety and accessibility by:

  • Improving pedestrian access by installing footway buildouts to address existing obstructions around the trees
  • Installation of two bolt-down bollards in the centre of the street to prevent motor vehicle through-movement (access will remain from either end of the street for those wanting to access facilities along the road).
  • Removal and suspension of pay-and-display parking along the street.

This survey is being carried out to understand users’ views of Sidgwick Avenue before any temporary changes are made.

Following the completion of this survey, the installation of the ETRO scheme, there will be further engagement with users to understand their views on the changes implemented under the ETRO. This will be in addition to the statutory consultation that takes place under an ETRO scheme, led by Cambridgeshire County Council as the highway’s authority.
